Biography
Ms. Wagner serves as Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Quality Improvement for the Texas A&M Health Science Center, Rural and Community Health Institute. She has been in health care since 1993 with more than 24 years in senior leadership. She has a strong background in clinical management, quality improvement, performance improvement, risk management, utilization management and data analytics. Ms. Wagner is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor in Business Administration (B.B.A.) and a graduate of Victoria College. She has successfully completed the Intermountain Healthcare training program in Advance Health Care Delivery Improvement and is a Team STEPPS master trainer. Ms. Wagner holds certifications in Utilization Management, Patent Safety, and Quality Improvement. Ms. Wagner is licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Texas and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
