Sherry Jennings

Biography

Sherry Jennings currently serves as the Director of Quality and Chief Nursing Officer for the Texas A&M Rural and Community Health Institute. She has previously worked in acute care hospitals, mainly focused on the care of trauma and surgical patients, for more than 25 years. Sherry has a strong background in leadership, quality initiatives, performance improvement, patient safety, utilization management, and data analytics.

Sherry is a graduate of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi with a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership, a graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch with a Bachelor of Nursing degree, and a graduate from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Texas.
