Biography
Reyann Davis serves as the Director of Value-Based Care at Texas A&M Rural and Community Health Institute. She oversees the population health team that supports the transition to value-based care for rural healthcare providers in Texas. Reyann works collaboratively with rural providers and hospitals offering services that empower and strengthen their value-based care operations and expertise. She has over a decade of value-based care executive leadership experience, including operating clinically integrated networks, accountable care organizations, leading the network operations team at managed service organizations in Medicare Advantage and commercial, and operating a high-performing provider network in risk arrangements including capitation and sub-capitation.
Supporting rural healthcare hits close to home for her, having grown up and continued to live in a picturesque rural community with a population size 207, it’s important to have access to great quality care for rural communities.
Reyann operates unique, value-based partnerships with both payers, and organizations and providers that support data and metrics transparency, continuous outcomes improvement, and the belief that great healthcare begins long before a person becomes a patient.
In her leadership role, she helps healthcare providers and professionals identify and guide patients through the right care paths while empowering patients to actively engage in their own health and wellness. She leads efforts to help reduce medical care costs across the continuum and improve outcomes and care delivery for the organization.
Prior to joining Texas A&M, Reyann served as AVP of Network Operations for Apex Health Solutions, Manage Service Organization. Reyann managed the network operations for the Memorial Hermann Healthcare Collaborative – Unity Health Partners the first of its kind in Texas. As AVP, Reyann also managed the network operations for the Memorial Herman Health Plan. Her experience also includes 8+ years operating as the executive leadership of the CHI St Joseph Health Clinically Integrated Network (CIN), the Accountable Care Organization (ACO), and the Senior Service Line.
Reyann earned her Master’s of Public Health, Policy and Management from Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Rural Public Health and a Bachelor’s of Science from Texas A&M University.
