Essentials of Opioid Prescribing Course

The Essentials of Opioid prescribing course is a one day CME program aimed at enhancing safe and legally compliant pain management. The target audience is any healthcare provider who wants to increase their understanding of prescribing opioids and the myriad regulations involved with this treatment option. This course will explore opioid prescribing from legal, regulatory, and patient safety perspectives. Health care practitioners who desire or need a more in-depth review of controlled substances prescribing should attend the 2-day course, KSTAR Pharmacology and prescribing of opioids and other controlled medications.
