Bree Watzak has been a pharmacist since 2008, she joined the Texas A&M Health Science Center in 2011. She is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist and a TeamSTEPPS master trainer. Bree received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Houston and completed residency training at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. She has been active in ARCHI Peer Review, the KSTAR Opioids Assessment-Training-Monitoring Program, Team Communication Courses, and several other contracts. Bree is the pharmacist on the PSO #79 team, listed by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). Her research focus areas are patient safety, interprofessional education and addiction. Bree continues to provide clinical lectures at the College of Pharmacy and precepts pharmacy students on rotations. She serves as a Board Member for the Texas Area Health Education Center East (AHEC), a member of the Texas Interprofessional Education Consortium, and a member of the Texas A&M Health Science Center Opioid Task Force.
